Mobile Battleship

 War has broken out between Earth and Jupiter. Jupiter has a teleport technology that can get them to and from locations quickly and this puts earth at a severe disadvantage, losing Mars colony and earths moon early in the conflict. The most advanced earth battleship is a civilian vessel manned by an exceptional and eccentric crew. The Nadesico makes a difference early but it is soon clear that the conflict isn't going to end soon. That there is more to the enemy than previously beleived and that the conflict, although only recently begun, was a long time in coming.
